ASIE CENTRALE, me voilà !
Hier, c'était mon premier cours d'Asie Centrale. Yesterday, I attended my first lecture of "CENTRAL ASIA" (level C) .
I 'm very happy with this course : it's the first course that sounds passionating and
interesting, where the teacher realkly teach me I don't know before.
The
teacher is Niklas Swanström. He knows a lot of things about his
subject. The first lecture is a global introduction " What is Central
Asia and why study it ? overview of the region's people" from 11 to 13.
ANd then, I have lunch with Christian, Alexandra, my schoolfellows from
Sciences PO , and Lucy, a girl nfrom New Zealand (Oakland) at Osgöta
Nation.(What the hell ? New-Zealand is just 4 Million people ??!!!)
ANd
then, back to the course, at 3 pm. Still Very interesting : tadjiks ,
ouzbeks, Mongolians, languages, religions, peoples, cultures,
traditions...todays ' challenges....to 5 pm.
Le professeur
s'appelle Niklas Swanström. Il connait plein de choses sur son
sujet.
Lucy, une Néo-Zélandaise ( d'Oakland) at Osgöta. (Hein ?
Afterwords, we
go to Stockholm with Anna and Christian, by
bus. Christian has a meeting for the Stockholm United Nations
Simulation. He tells us that it will be a very interesting conference
with acivil cervant from the UN and a diplomatic dinner. In the bus, we
meet Kate, from Manchester, who studies ecology. The conference
is in the UNiversity of Stockholm, it supposed to be teached by a civil
cervant from the UNited Nations. But the guy could not come so it was a
student who dealt with the UN in her thesis. Not ineresting and nothing
new at all ... However, I met Yvanne ( and Guillaume) , from Sciences
PO.
Yvanne explains me how does it work : it's a huge project, in
the whole world, launched by some associations, which organizes a
simulation of the UN conference in each capital and then, there is a
Global Meeting with all the Conferences. You can earn a DIPLOMATIC
AWARD , if you're the best .
After the end of the Conference,
we're looking for a restaurant in Stockholm. It's raining. We're
hungry. Christian wants to go to the Mongolian he heard about , that is
cheap and great. But, actually, the Mongolian is very expensive.
Back to a cheaper Kebab restaurant.
Repli sur un restau Kebab moins cher.
Back to Uppsala, by bus.
Retour à Uppsala, en bus.
Sleeping Night. Sweat Dreams.
Nuit endormie. Doux rêves.
