Yesterday
Yesterday was the first day of my second course, intitled
"Comparative European POlitics". This course deals about electoral
systems, governements, European welfare states and different states,
political action. In fact, it's nearly exactly the same course as
P.Braud's course I attended last year in Sciences PO.... I hope,
however, it will be interesting and I will learn some new things.
The
teacher looks young and intersting; He doesn't hesitate an speaks a
good english. I attend the course with some people who were already
with me in European Integration (only swedish people, by the way). And
there is Tom, a Polish friend. There is also Kim, the cool Canadian
girl. And a French-speaking Swiss girl. Kim says that the teacher is
"knocky" but all right. Nevertheless, more than half of the class is
Swedish..
For the third seminar, a memo must be written about any topic in the course...
This first course deals about "Constitutions and Judicial Review" and is not bad. I already know nearly everything, but I'm open-minded.
The bibliography is huge.
Then, the course ends at 5 pm. I go to the library ( I'll write
something in French about it later) of the Department of Political
Sciences. And go and photocopy all the articles we have to read for the
month. 50 kr. I heard that the price is not per copies but per total
weight...That's strange...
And then, I go to the Bookstore to buy the two books we need to read for the course. Bloody Hell ! 700 kr !
I'm tired. I rest at home.
In the evening, Francesco has invited
all his Italian friends to watch a movie, and invited me as well.
His computer didn't work. Thus, we had to take mine. The film, The Tenembaum Family, was little boring but sometimes funny. I could recognize some similar mood as in Amélie POulain. Finnaly, we were so tired that we quickly go to bed.
I slept well. On tuesday, I got up at 12 am.
